New Music "Hooked"!

Hello Peeps! It is October and I have so much to you up on. Life is Great and its only getting better. I released my first single in three years entitled "Hooked" in August 2011. It has received a lot of attention on radio in the U.S. as well as the U.K. Radio stations are adding it to their rotation every week. I'm truly thankful as this song is the first track off of my new project. I'm working on a video, as well as some other things, so I'm deciding not to give a release date as of yet. When its ready however, it will be ready and I will release it to the world. I am not signed, neither do I have backing from a label. This is all a raw grass roots venture. My partner ZDE from Australia, and I started working on this project in the summer of 2009, and we are not looking back. He is just as excited as I am and we cannot wait to share our baby with the world. I also have some surprise guest appearances on the album so look out for it on a radio near you:-)

I am deciding this year to take a vacation. Finally. Yes, I need one as I've been working so diligently in moving forward with this project. I love seeing new places, so this year I'm taking a cruise to Mexico. Who knows what I may find there, but I'm super excited. Hey! Yes, I'm back again. As I mentioned earlier, I'm kinda getting into this filming things I like mode, and check this have you ever seen a broom fiddle? Yes, that's right a broom fiddle! Hey Everybody! It is so wonderful to be back. I have been busy working on some new things as well as a new project. I am so excited to share it with everyone as I am about 70% in. I haven't officially set a release date as of yet, but I am working on the marketing aspects of the project and as soon as this is completed I will let the world know. I have done a couple of remixes as well as released a song "Fantasy" that will be featured on the Hittalk website. The single was released on a mixtape and was chosen as a favorite for a Jrecords song submit. Hey Everybody!

I seem to be making these seasonal updates but I know I have to do much better. Things have been busy on my end as well as my life has changed since the last season. I have played keys for a number of artists and right now am writing for some major artists but will not mention unless I get a song placed. I moved to a different region and am now writing where everything started. This will be some kind of experience for me because I have a lot to write about. I'm taking some time away just to write and now finally work on some of my own new stuff. June 23, 2008. Exciting Moments and the Summer has arrived!

Hey out there! I know its been a minute since I posted but just wanted to update you on what's going on with me. I have been doing some traveling, playing shows of my own as well as with other artists. In May, I had the opportunity to travel to Massachusetts for the first time. It was a wonderful trip and so glad I had an opportunity to perform for a Soul crowd in Massachusetts. Who'd ever thought? Haha But, you can check out my first televised interview from there coming soon. Aside from the music, I'm making it a point for me to pick up some books and start reading. If you know me, I love to read and discover new books. Spiritual enlightment and fiction along with mythology is my thing! So...I've decided to join the literacy campaign and jump on the bandwagon by reading some more. This Father's Day, I participated in an event that supports children and education. How Cool! In spite of all the rain this month, the event was a success. Men came out and worked together to secure tents and hold things together which was a beautiful thing. In some of my earlier posts, I said I wanted to start writing more and it has been going great! I've been in the studio working on new stuff as well and I'm now trying to decide if I will give some of this stuff away to other artists or keep it. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see! I have so many gigs coming up next, New Jersey, New York, and maybe your town? It is great to be back on here and until next time..

What a weekend! The benefit show was amazing! The band jammed and i had so much fun playing with those guys! The Indie Soul Mixer was a hot event with so many soul artists in the building. There was a mini discussion on the industry and and then he jam session! Sunday, the LGBT expo in which yours truly sang "Alone" for Mundo televicion! Should air on a news program sometime soon so watch everyday from 5-7 so watch you don't miss it! Keep checking back for more cool stuff!
